Tsaliki Christina holds a teaching degree for Primary Education from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUT). She also holds a Master Degree in Science Teaching for the domain of Environmental and Health education of the same University. She is also a PhD Candidate in Science Education, in University of Western Macedonia, Greece. She has attended a two-year teacher retraining program in D. Glinnos School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Additionally, she has participated in a long term program on Managing Educational Institutions and introducing innovations, organized by the Research Committee of the same institution (AUT).
She participated as a researcher “Science Teacher Education (STED)” , a Teacher Education and research program implemented by the scientific team University of Western Macedonia, Department of Preschool Education. She has worked as a primary school teacher in different areas of Greece. Last years she is in charge for Environmental Education (E.E.) programs implemented in primary schools of the eastern district of Thessaloniki. As part of her work, she has attended, organized, and conducted lectures at numerous teacher support training seminars while also participated in Coordinating Committees on Local and Regional Environmental Education Networks.
Her research interests relate with Science Teaching, Teacher Professional Development, Non-Formal Education, and implementation of Environmental programs in preschool and primary education. She took part and published papers in Greek and international scientific conferences.
